This Privacy Policy explains how LinguaFlow AI collects, uses, protects, retains, and handles information when you use the LinguaFlow AI application.

This Privacy Policy is also published as a public web page so that it can be accessed outside the application.

Information We Collect

We collect information that is needed to provide and support your LinguaFlow AI experience. Depending on how you use the application, this may include:

• Email address

• User ID associated with your account

• Learning progress

• App interactions and learning activity

• Quiz and exercise scores

• Speaking-practice statistics

• XP and streak information

• Information that you provide when using AI-powered learning features

• Other information necessary to operate and secure your account and the application, where applicable

App interactions and learning activity may include information used to track learning progress, active learning days, streaks, XP, AI usage, and credit usage.

We do not intentionally access your contacts, photos, calendar, installed applications, personal files, or precise physical location unless a future feature specifically requires such access and you provide the necessary permission.

Account Information

Sign-in may be handled through Google Sign-In using Firebase Authentication or through email/password authentication.

Depending on the sign-in method you use, we may receive information such as your name, email address, and account identifier.

Authentication credentials are handled through the applicable authentication service and are not stored by LinguaFlow AI as plain-text passwords.

How We Use Your Data

We use collected information to:

• Create and maintain your LinguaFlow AI account

• Provide personalized language-learning experiences

• Save and synchronize learning progress

• Track learning activity, quizzes, exercises, XP, and streaks

• Provide speaking and pronunciation practice

• Provide AI-powered language-learning features

• Maintain and secure the application

• Improve the application and its learning experience

• Provide notifications or reminders when enabled

• Process purchases or subscriptions if and when such features become available

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

AI Features

Certain LinguaFlow AI features, including AI Tutor, Say Anything, and Talk Freely, may process text or speech that you voluntarily provide.

Information submitted to these features may be transmitted to LinguaFlow AI's servers and, when necessary, processed by third-party AI service providers to generate a requested response.

AI processing may include:

• Translation

• Grammar correction

• Grammar explanation

• Vocabulary assistance

• Conversational responses

• Other language-learning assistance

AI-powered features require an internet connection.

LinguaFlow AI does not intentionally store AI Tutor, Say Anything, or Talk Freely conversations as permanent conversation history in its application database.

Information submitted to these features is used to provide the requested functionality and is not intentionally used by LinguaFlow AI for unrelated purposes.

Voice and Speech Data

LinguaFlow AI uses the device microphone for speaking and pronunciation features when you grant microphone permission.

Speech recognition may be performed on the device when an appropriate offline recognition capability is available, or through a speech-recognition service provided by the device, operating system, or another applicable service provider.

For certain AI-powered speaking features, online speech recognition is used because those features require an internet connection.

As a result, microphone audio may be transmitted from your device to the applicable speech-recognition service for processing.

LinguaFlow AI's own servers do not intentionally receive or permanently store the raw microphone audio used for speech recognition.

Speech-recognition providers may process audio according to their own privacy policies and applicable terms.

Speaking-related results, such as recognized text, scores, or practice statistics, may be processed or stored as part of your learning experience.

Payments

For the current release, premium purchasing functionality may be unavailable or disabled.

If premium subscriptions or other digital purchases become available in the future, purchases will be processed through Google Play Billing or another applicable payment provider made available by LinguaFlow AI.

LinguaFlow AI does not receive or store your full payment-card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or banking password.

Payment information is handled by the applicable payment provider according to its privacy policy and terms.

Third-Party Services

LinguaFlow AI may use third-party services to provide authentication, hosting, AI processing, speech recognition, payments, security, and other application functionality.

These services may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable terms.

Examples may include:

• Firebase Authentication

• Google services

• Google Play services and Google Play Billing, where applicable

• Device or operating-system speech-recognition services

• Third-party AI service providers

• Payment providers, when applicable

Third-party services may have their own data handling, security, and retention practices.

LinguaFlow AI does not intentionally sell personal information to third parties.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through LinguaFlow AI.

Information transmitted between the application and our servers is protected using encrypted connections such as HTTPS/TLS where supported.

No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. However, reasonable measures are taken to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Data Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide the application's services

• Maintain your account

• Provide learning functionality

• Maintain learning progress

• Comply with legal obligations

When you delete your account, associated personal information and account data will be deleted or anonymized within 30 days, subject to information that is legally required or permitted to be retained.

Age Requirement

LinguaFlow AI is intended for users 13 years of age and older.

The application is not intentionally designed or marketed as a children's application for users under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through intentional child-directed use of the service.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, reasonable steps will be taken to delete that information.

Offline Learning and Online Features

LinguaFlow AI is designed with an offline-first learning approach.

Supported core learning content may be accessed without continuously requiring an internet connection, including:

• Grammar

• Vocabulary

• Bilingual dictionary content

• Practice exercises

• Interactive games

• Supported reference content

Some features, including AI-powered features, online speech recognition, account synchronization, and other server-dependent functionality, may require an internet connection.

Information is transmitted from the application only when required for the applicable online feature or service.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to LinguaFlow AI, its services, or applicable legal requirements.

When material changes are made, users may be notified through the application, by email, or through another appropriate communication method.
